Matthew has recently returned to Coffs Coast Computers in February 2009 after 12 months working in Brisbane for Communication Networks Australia, a company who installs and maintains large scale telecommunications networks for government institutions such as Royal Brisbane Hospital and Education Queensland. Here he gained valuable experience in the installation of complex data networks incorporating CAT6+ copper & optical fibre cabling. Matthew can assist you with the planning and installation of your new large scale office, or home network, or any additions to existing phone or data networks that you may require.

 

We have added some exciting new features to the website! The first is a remote support system that allows us to gain fast & secure remote access to any computer system connected to the Internet, without requiring firewall or any other changes at the client's end. This feature allows us to fix simple problems quickly and cheaply as most can be resolved remotely, without requiring an on-site visit. All the system requires is for the client to call one of our technicians and then click Remote Support on the Coffs Coast Computers website. The client then receives a 6-digit pin code from the technician and enters into the space provided on the Remote Support page. It is that simple!

 

The second exciting new feature of our website is the Client Service Portal. This feature is for our corporate clients that have a support agreement with Coffs Coast Computers. Through the portal our clients can Add, Edit or View support tickets and know the status of these tickets at any time. Clients can also view a history of all issues resolved and print past and present invoices, amongst other features. The Client Service Portal is one of many exciting new features that we are implementing for our clients with support agreements.

 

Coffs Coast Computers has completed all the requirements to become a Microsoft Certified Partner. Coffs Coast Computers is the only local IT company to hold this level of membership on the Coffs Coast. Becoming Microsoft Certified Partners will allow Coffs Coast Computers to work more closely with Microsoft and have better access to new technologies, training and technical support, which will greatly benefit our clients.

Daniel Whittaker received the Coffs Harbour Daybreak Rotary Award for 'Pride of Workmanship' at a Rotary dinner held at the Big Windmill resturant in May this year.
